Description
Yeah, so it turns out I'm a Brony. I spent MetroCon helping run her booth, and listening to people talk about it all weekend I had to check it out...and it turns out the show is AWESOME!!!
So, I upgraded my Mac to Lion and it started running like crap (I mean it took 5 minutes just to move a file from one folder to another) and I figured since I had to redo all of my backgrounds, shortcuts and folders over again I'd give making my own folder icons a shot.
I picked up the cutie marks and pony-vectors from and started playing. I made these large enough so you even when you use the preview pane, they won't fade or pixilate.
To set these as an icon in OSX:
1) Open the icon you want to use with Preview.
2) Use command-a to select all then command-c to copy, close
preview.
3) Select the icon you want to replace and use command-i to
open the info panel
4) In the top left corner of the info panel, click on the icon and
use command-v to paste the new one.
